We believe championing the health and well-being of clients, residents, and families of McCormick Care Group is one of the most powerful ways to support our community.
We work hard every day to partner with our community to enhance care, enrich lives, and advance long-term and dementia care. From art therapy, social work, and spiritual care, to therapeutic gardens, special events, caregiver support and subsidies for those who face financial challenges – we fund specialized programs and innovative services that provide quality of life for those we serve, beyond the limited funding available from the provincial government.

Established in 1984 and governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, McCormick Care Foundation is the fundraising arm of McCormick Care Group, which includes:

McCormick Home - serving adults, primarily the frail elderly, who require a range of personal and health services, and who are no longer able to live safely and independently in the community

McCormick Dementia Services – serving individuals living with dementia by delivering the highest quality programs and services through day programs, overnight respite program, and caregiver support programs

McCormick Dementia Research – advances dementia care through thoughtful and strategic research partnerships and collaborations
Our Directors are community leaders with a passion for making a difference in long-term and dementia care, embrace our values, and have a willingness to do serious Board work to achieve our mission.
